Hirer's guide

Everything you need on the day. We also email it with every booking.

Arriving

The key is in the key safe to the left of the main entrance. We email the code 3 days before. The master light switch is in the cupboard just inside, on the right.

In the kitchen

The hob is induction, so bring saucepans that work on it. Oven instructions are in the top drawer by the hob. Please leave the items under the worktops, which belong to regular groups.

Furniture and decorations

Tables and chairs are in the cupboard to the right of the main hall entrance. Please lift, don't drag, on the oak floor. Use Blu Tack, and the hooks in the main hall for bunting.

What to bring

Tea towels, kitchen roll, bin liners and napkins. We provide washing-up liquid and toilet rolls. Please don't change the heating controls: it comes on for your booking.

Safety

Find the emergency exits when you arrive. The first aid kit is in the bottom drawer by the hob. The defibrillator is on the outside wall, on the driveway near the road.

Before you leave

Wipe and stack the furniture, sweep, wipe the kitchen, take all rubbish home, close windows and curtains, and turn off the lights. Lock up, return the key and scramble the code.
