Is the hall free on a particular date?
Check the calendar on Hire the hall. Each day shows morning, afternoon and evening as free or taken.
How do I book?
Pick a free session on Hire the hall, fill in your details and pay. Daytime bookings are confirmed straight away. Regular groups and block bookings: email hirehall@wevh.uk.
How much does it cost?
From £45 for a weekday daytime session to £75 for a Friday or Saturday evening. West End residents get £10 off every session.
What time do evening bookings finish?
Evenings run from 6pm to 11pm. Music goes down at 9:30pm and off by 10pm, for our neighbours.
Why does my evening booking need approval?
A trustee checks every evening booking, usually within 2 days. Your card is held, and only charged once it is approved.
Is the hall suitable for my event?
See The hall for sizes and photos, and the inventory on Documents. Seats 75 at tables, or 100 standing. You can also arrange a viewing.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund if you cancel 30 days or more before your booking. No refund within 30 days.
Can I sell alcohol or tickets?
The hall isn't licensed. You need the trustees' written consent and a Temporary Event Notice from Elmbridge Borough Council. Tickets must be sold in advance.
